The marketing concept here is great. A hygienic salon, with a relaxing environment, that is upscale without being stuffy or snide. Somehow the cliente always seems relaxed too, particularly compared to other establishments in this area. Maybe it's the effect of the place! While getting a mani or pedi used to seem like a chore, this establishment makes it seem more like a "mini" retreat. Also, I love the general design of the store: the high ceilings, the semi-circle drying area with well stocked magazines, the super plush pedicure seats. Even the merchandise is fun to look at it, though I try to stay focused on why I came ;) The diversity of the staff is so refreshing too. The women who work the front desk are always very peppy and affable. I've seen Yvonne and Claudia several times for manicures and always have completely interesting conversations with each. And of course, they deliver a fantastic manicure that lasts for a long time. Another standout feature is the ability to book online. If I start planning my day at 9pm at night, it is great to know in advance whether or not I can fit in a quick manicure or color change at some point, without having to wait until the morning. Really, a remarkable feature.
