Who would have ever imagined that a husband and wife team making gingerbread houses in their home in Stoneham, Massachusetts would have led to the now well known Gingerbread Construction Company? John and Janet D'Orsi began making gingerbread houses and cookies at their home in 1981 as a hobby, only planning on selling the houses and cookies at craft shows in the New England area. However, as customers started showing up at their doorstep looking for a beautiful and tasty treat, John and Janet knew that it was time to make the company grow.
nothing beats their decadent muffins. My go-to favs are the Carrot Cake and Gingerbread. The icing sandwiched between layers is devine!

It has taken nearly 9 years but I think I have finally sampled ALL of their different muffins - still haven't picked a favorite though

I LOVE muffins, somehow more than cupcakes, and these are the best in Boston for sure
