Founded in 1868, we are the second-oldest humane society in the United States. Our services include animal protection and adoption, advocacy, humane education, law enforcement and world-class veterinary care.
They know their stuff better than anyone around. They are all so friendly and caring. Other vet hospitals have missed significant health signals but Angell picked right up on it and saved my pet! Thank you!

Miracle workers and angels. Saved one of my dogs lives and helped another through terminal illness. But Back Bay vet gets a very close second from me.

Our regular vet referred us to the specialists at Angell for our cat who had "atypical cardiomyopathy" (heart disease). They treated him well!
