The Coolidge Corner Theatre, one of Brookline's treasured landmarks, is a fully-restored Art Deco movie palace. Showing movies the way they were meant to be seen since 1933, the Coolidge offers comfort, beauty and the chance to experience the best film and video programming around - from hot independents to classic revivals, to extraordinary selections of world cinema. As a not-for-profit arts institution, the Coolidge features first run arthouse films, including independent films, international cinema, and documentaries. We also do frequent revival series of cinema classics, midnight movies, and family and senior film programs.

Elizabeth, the events coordinator, is the most ambitious of any art-house I've encountered in Boston, NYC, or Chicago. Amazing community to back such a magical place.
