The staff her really caters to you and they bring in authors all the time to read from and sign their books. Almost makes me sad I went mostly digital.

This book store is the best reason to not buy a kindle. You won't encounter people this great sitting on your couch in your electric glow..... Brookline Booksmith is what "community" is all about!

I can easily come here and spend way more than I had planned. Still, with the deals they run, the well-organized used bookstore downstairs, and the friendliness of the staff, it's totally worth it.

They always have amazing author events, the staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and they sell such cool stuff in addition to books. I love everything about this place.
