Nominated for: BEST Concert Venue
Symphony Hall is widely regarded as one of the two or three finest concert halls in the world. The walls of the stage slope inward to help focus the sound. The side balconies are shallow so as not to trap any of the sound, and the recesses of the coffered ceiling, along with the statue-filled niches along the three sides, help to distribute the sound throughout the hall.

This hall is one of the finest in the world and deserves to be on this list regularly, or be retired as the best, and then list the other ones annually in this context.

T.T.'s is cool, the Paradise is fun, the Wang Center and the Opera House should be in this survey because they're both beautiful, the Orpheum needs an overhaul, and at the end of the day ... Symphony Hall by a mile!

A must "hear". Remember that this is also the home of the world renowned "America's Orchestra" otherwise known to us as the Boston Pops.
