Established as a dance education program by E. Virginia Williams nearly 50 years ago, Boston Ballet School has since evolved into Boston Ballet Center for Dance Education, the largest dance education school in North America.
The Center offers numerous community outreach programs including Citydance, Adaptive Dance, and Taking Steps. A ticket donation program supports fundraising efforts by non-profit organizations in the Greater Boston metropolitan area. The Center for Dance Education strives to bring new levels of excellence to ballet and to make dance accessible to all.
Boston Ballet also offers several dance education programs designed for adult dance afficionados including Dance Talks and Pre-Curtain Talks.
