From trendy clubs to laid-back hidden gems, the Boston A-List has found the best rooftop bars in the hub this summer. After three action packed rounds, we have narrowed the field from 16 nominees down to 2. As the Rooftop Bar Brawl comes to a close, it all comes down to one question - which rooftop bar is better: the Colonnade Hotel or the Rattlesnake Bar and Grill?
As you ponder the question, consider the entire package: food, drinks, ambiance, service, and more.
Will the Colonnade Hotel win your vote? The beloved Back Bay landmark boasts an urban oasis 12 stories above the streets below, offering white-curtained cabanas, lounge seats, and a full-service bar with TV’s for pool-goers viewing pleasure. Katie V. championed Colonnade as the "Best place in Boston!"
Or will it be Rattlesnake Bar and Grill, the 3-time Boston A-List finalist for BEST Outdoor Drinks and Patio Bar. A staple of Boston’s lifestyle scene for decades, Rattlesnake concocts freshly made margarittas accompanied with tantalizing Latin-American dishes. Courtney C. raves its a “great hidden roofdeck. Perfect place to grab drinks at night during the summer.” Eric R. adds, “a roof deck on Boylston, who knew? Great place for groups in a casual setting...”Follow @TheBostonAList Tweet #RoofTopBars
So which will it be? Will Boston voters opt for the sparkling rooftop pool or will they go for something spicier? Now is the time to vote - just be sure to leave your vertigo behind. Voting ends Tuesday, June 30th at 12pm.
